So, you know how I was all "OMG, I only have ten days to pump out 100 recs! I suck!"
Um. I did two. And then nothing until yesterday. At which point I started churning 'em out. God, this is just like senior year, when I didn't touch the books until the day the blue books were due and then frantically wrote them during European History (Mr. Widener was the bestest - blue book days were always light days because at least half the class had Dupres for British Lit, and we were all horrible, horrible slackers)...and just like last semester, when I didn't even read the Analects until two hours before the final.
Hey, you know what I've decided is one of
list50's most attractive features? The utter lack of deadlines.
Anyway. I need to do 50 HP recs and 50 Xander recs by midnight...less than four hours. Progress so far:
4:53 PM:
HP - 22/50
BtVS - 24/50
7:25 PM:
HP - 32/50
BtVS - 24/50
Yeah, I don't think I'll make it, either.
9:07 PM:
HP - 37/50
BtVS - 24/50
10:24 PM:
HP - 40/50
BtVS - 31/50
Final Tally:
HP - 50/50 (ish - those last few were right at the wire)
BtVS - 40/50
Oh my jesus god, I'm never doing that again. Probably never. Though it's nice to make recs that people actually read. I am certainly never going to try doing 98 in two days again, although it's nice to know that if I'd been a sloth-ridden whore and slept those extra two hours on Sunday, I almost certainly would have made it.
