Wait...what?
Yesterday was puzzlingly good.
I got up sometime before 1 PM for once. I then took the bus out to Cross Keys to buy a book.
I was almost to the place, having gotten off of the bus. There's a Burger King right at this stop. Now, as I passed, I saw a familiar car, and a familiar face inside it. Turns out my dad had left his job early to attend to some real estate business. So we went over to the bookstore together and hung out.
Right over near to the bookstore is the Gamestop we often visit. I probably go there at least once out of the month if not more often. In any case, we discovered there that Halo 3, while having been a pretty large deal, breaking records and stuff, there are still lots of copies of the regular version flying around out there. So I did what any red-blooded gamer with a 360 would probably do, which is go ahead and get it.
I can't really say much about what's been going on amongst my beleaguered IRC buds, because I've now completely lost track. All I know for sure is that this is the last life on this particular situation. No more continues. I'm kind of pessimistic about the situation, but I'll be damned if I won't hang on to it for as long as I can.
They say there's one way to go and one way to be, well, I can't believe in those words...
