getting a hold on things
I was struggling a bit, I think, and phoning it in after my birthday. Not sure why, it's not like I care how old I am. Maybe it was just a little disappointing.
In any case, things're looking up. My other favorite DnD session is starting anew next week(sometime) and I've got inspiration for art (if I can ever be arsed to pull out the sketchbook.)
I seriously need to get a move on with Omega Force. I have the first five pages or so mapped out now...but I've started to revise some of what was going on and I have to figure out just what's going on for ten pages. When I hit ten, that is when I will commence layouts for Digital Squad Omega Force. I figure a once-a-week schedule should be sufficient. I will need to generate a buffer, though.
In other news, Team Fortress 2 is fuckin' awesome. If you can get it to run right, that is. I've mostly been playing with one other person, the only other one who's downloaded it can't get it to run for anything. I'll see him on the Steam friends list, and it'll say HE'S PLAYING TF2 and I'll check the friends list again and suddenly he's not playing it. Bleh. Thanks a lot, Valve. But hey, the game is good!
I got Team Fortress 2 with my preorder of the Orange Box. To my delight, I was able to access all the content in that box that was already released. This includes HL2, HL2E1, and HL2: Lost Coast. I will have to peruse this collection.
I got my 360 back, so of course the first thing I did was get Bioshock. Fun, fun game. Very nice, atmospheric stuff. I might go more into depth with this when I get farther in.
I also got Dynasty Warriors: Gundam. I would have thought "oh, bleh, another DW game" but this game has a different spin. Still button mashy. But somehow wrapping Gundam around it makes it better.
Search me, man. I have no idea why.
I got Mega Man Star Force: Leo. I'll be adding the FC for that to my little list when I get the chance. I have one more Brotherband slot at this point. I beat the main game, but that's not the same as "clearing" it. I might do that, but I kind of doubt I have the skill (as I was never able to manage this on MMBN, ever.)
Haven't played Persona three in a bit. Need to get back to that. I had hit an impasse, gotten past it, and lost my drive to play it for a bit. Now I'm back into the concept.
Bought Godhand, and I haven't done much but play the first mission. Need to do something with that, I reckon.
Dear god. So many games I picked up lately. This is only going to get worse, you know. I'm going to have to start scheduling my gaming sessions or something.
