I had such an excellent day. yes, excellent. nothing in particular was really special; little details just made my day. plus I feel on top of things... my grades for last semester are good, my room/bathroom's clean, and I had fun at dance practice today. I was dreading it the whole day because I thought it would be a stressful practice, but somehow, after being somewhat tired most of the day, I had a lot of energy. plus, we started a lyrical dance and I like it... other than I've never taken a lyrical class before, so I'm a little worried. oh well, maybe dancing lyricallyish (definitely a word) in my basement by myself all the time will amount to something. most likely not. thankfully, this dance is optional.
this hot chocolate is making everything even better. I've had way too much hot chocolate lately. that is, if there's such a thing as too much hot chocolate.
oh man, there are these really awesome monkeys hanging from the letters on google.com. wait, is it chinese new year? there are little chinese symbols next to the monkeys. umm so again, about how details make my day...
I'm getting my hair cut next saturday... I really wish it was sooner; I'm sick of my hair. so, I think I want a few inches off and more layers and such. I'm also getting tired of this red. I'm leaning towards light brown... maybe darker? your thoughts?
sara left this poetry book that dana let her borrow at my house saturday. I finally remembered to put it in my backpack this morning, but forgot to give it to her at school. so I went to get my mythology book out of my backpack for english, when I saw the other book. in attempt at procrastination of my english reading, I ended up reading about forty pages of sylvia plath. I like when I forget about things and like them even better when I rediscover them. like that poem where she accidentally cuts the top of her thumb... I read that in middle school and liked it, even though at the time I was more intrigued by how she stuck her head in an oven. wait, that was her, right? anyhow, I realized that I should read more on my own like I used to. has anyone read the da vinci code? I've heard it's good via television/radio/whatever other publicity it's gotten, but does anyone want to lend me a personal opinion... or copy of the book?
anyway, I'm ending this because christine just called me and she fell down at school today so I should probably give her sympathy and talk to her. hmm. this was really long anyway.
