(no subject)
I'm living in College Station now. I must say it's a lot different than home...but I still get that homie feeling here. It's so comfortable and laid-back...I love it. I must admit though...the weekends can get a little boring at times. Good thing Austin is just an hour away...and I happen to have a best friend that lives there. Awesome! The living with my best friend deal is working out nicely...so I'm glad about that one. I'm getting scared about the freshman 15, hah. The beer is so cheap here...plus there's a lot of restaurant places right next to my dorm! But, i'm really loving the freedom. My mom would've killed me if I went jogging after 12...or just didn't come home sometimes. So that part is awesome. There are a lot of things that I plan on doing...just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Hmm...making more friends is one.
As far as Mando goes. The long distance wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. Plus, i'm 18 years old and a freshman in college...I don't think a serious relationship is really what I want right now. I'm scared i'm going to miss out on experiences. So we are not together at the moment, but i'm sure something will happen in the future. He's too great of a guy for me to just watch go away for good. If we're supposed to be together...it'll happen again. Until then, good friends is what we will be.
So yeah, that was just a little update on how i've been. I'm excited about how much i'm going to learn and grow up this year! It shall be some good times. Alright...gotta go to sleep...i'm waking up at 8.
