Yay, ladies!
Hey it's halfamoon! For those who don't know, I'm just going to c+p from the user info: "Half a Moon is a fourteen day challenge celebrating female characters in fandom, which will run from February 1 through Valentine's Day. Fanfiction, vids, recs, art, picspam, icons, meta, fanmixes, and outside links to content fitting the theme of this community are all welcome--the only rule is that the primary focus must be on a female character or characters."

(...it's extremely unlikely that I'll actually write fic for it since a)I have multiple assignments due next week and b)I pretty much never write fic. But whatever, people need ~inspiration~.)
I'm also reccing for the The Vampire Diaries over at crack_van this month. Only two recs up so far, but I have a list. I'm planning to do a fandom overview for it too, but I'm a little ??? over how. There's so many characters! And it's a high school vampire soap opera so the plot moves at a ridiculous pace. Brevity! BREVITY!! I will get to it during my uni's Reading Week (the week after next).
...and now I should go to bed.
