At first I wasn't sure how I felt about Heath Ledger playing the role, but looking at this picture gives me hope that he'll be the fucking crazy maniac we all know and love.

I was at the Virgin Music Festival on Monday. I had fun overall, but I still feel Vancouver got the shit deal compared to Toronto.
Seriously. The "big names" that Vancouver got were: Billy Talent, Rise Against, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Hot Hot Heat, AFI and Metric (and other, lesser known bands).
Toronto gets Bjork, Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol, Peter Bjorn and John, Tokyo Police Club, Metric, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, Editors, and The Arctic Monkeys (among others).
WTF is up with that?
While I had fun, it was more because of the company I was with than the lineup. I missed out on The Killers and instead opted to see MSTRKRFT (and proceeded to dance like a maniac for two hours).
I couldn't hear properly for two days. The ringing in my ears have died down from an unbearable "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" sound to a quieter, less annoying din.

I'm sad that the season is over... :(

And in other news, I'm being totally lame and skipping out on the Arcade Fire show. The lack of necessary funds is to blame...
In related news, I'm still looking for a well paying job.
After busting my ass for 5+ years getting my degree, I feel I deserve one by now. Living on close to minimum wage sucks the big one.
