it's been a fun weekend despite the blazing sun.  i picked frank up from the airport and dropped him off at the dorm.  i got tell you that place is ghetto and crumbling down slowly, but it's cheap.  a big chuck of ceiling in the living room fell on the sofa and you could see the wood of the second floor.  I met a few incoming law students.  some

hmm, from the description of the apt, i guess it was worth to pay for more rent. but still, it was expensive for me, o.w i could stay there longer. you know, i like michigan except for the horrible winter. Is LA a clean city? -a

well, LA is so huge. there are clean and dirty places.

there is no subway(underground train) in LA? how do people who can't drive travel?

you can take bus, there is a train, but it doesn't go any places useful
