memorial weekend
it's been a fun weekend despite the blazing sun. i picked frank up from the airport and dropped him off at the dorm. i got tell you that place is ghetto and crumbling down slowly, but it's cheap. a big chuck of ceiling in the living room fell on the sofa and you could see the wood of the second floor. I met a few incoming law students. some are very laid back, some are nerdy. I guess nerdy lawyers do exist, just not on screen. to my surprise, quite a few people are from non-ivy league, but decent schools. one guy is even from michigan state. this just goes to show that one doesn't have to go to a famous school to get to law school. High LSAT score is the more important thing. from the names on the mail box, i could tell one gender is predominant. just imagine three girls share one bathroom, while 20 other guys have to squeeze into another.
