The internship I applied to still hasn't gotten back to me. I'm a loser, you guys!
I am looking at other stuff, though, but now I'm getting antsy since Summer is almost here.
Meh. In the meantime, I have a project to keep me occupied and it's called Amy Fixes Her Room. The room at my dad's house is just... I don't know. Cluttered? It's not dirty, and it doesn't look like a tornado went through it, it's just that there's too many things bunched in with too many other things, and said things need their separate spaces. Part of the problem is that I have so much stuff in here that don't need to be in here! There's so much from middle school, and like... Some of it I still want and will keep around, but I need to at least move things. For starters, I need to get my old books off of my shelves because they're just sitting there collecting dust, and I could be putting other stuff on there. And I also need to throw some things out.
So it will probably take a few weeks, but it's actually kind of entertaining because I keep finding shit. For instance, I found THREE never-before-used MAC brushes! AMAZING. Also, I found lip gloss. EVERYWHERE. There is seriously lip gloss all.over.my.room. Also, I have too many bags.
Argh, I just want my room to be pretty again.
And um... Oh yeah, the Mets game was actually pretty fun. Our suite was on field-level and it wasn't a terrible game. Lol, the NL goes so fast!
Then I ninja-visited my Bubbe afterwards. I had just gone right into Manhattan from CitiField, but Desiree's dinner wasn't for a while when I got down to the Village. So when I came out of the subway on her corner, I just called and asked to come up XD. But it was nice. And Desiree's birthday was fun because, um, Japanese food and karaoke = YES.
..... Alsoooo, this season of American Idol is pissing me off!
Siobhan went home tonight which is ridiculous because she's awesome. Aaron is SO BORING. Mike is meh. I like Lee and Casey because they're hot and play guitar..... And I want to strangle Crystal. With her dreadlocks. I just... Do.
