My Response.
As a follow up to my previous entry about trying to make friends with internet "strangers", I kept reading his reponse to my (our) interests, and the more often I read it the more irritated I became.
An email from him asking "did I scare you?" promted this reply:
You didn't "scare" me.
I do, however, find it incredibly rude that you would ask me what we enjoyed doing and then turn around and feel the need to tell me how pretentious our interests are and how you, apparently, are a better person than us for not being interested in those same "bourgeois" pastimes.
I mean, really. Pull the stick out of your ass.
I feel better now. :)
