today marked the arrival of macbook number two. the macfairy also smiled on troy, in the form of an 80GB hard drive and 1GB of ram. we are now within 10 days of the wedding but it doesn't seem real yet! i began getting sick on new years eve and most everything since then has been a blur. i'm still pretty out of it but definitely improving. now ( Read more... )

i am now using my beautiful new refurbished macbook. it came with some surprises first of all being that it came early, and not only that- i ordered one with 512mb ram and a 60gb hard drive but OMG i got one with 1gb ram and a whopping 100gb hard drive!!! so far so good. i love it. my nervousness about switching from Ubuntu Linux to OS X has ( Read more... )

things are speeding up. the wedding is sneaking up on us! i can't believe it is less than a month away. so much to do and i haven't even done my christmas shopping yet!

all i can say is eeeek!

Molly pop is back home after a couple of days of negotiations with the humane society. she is happy, we are happy, even linux the cat is happy. now we are again at common grounds and as you can see the internet here is working beautifully (previously we had great difficulty in connecting to the router here).
