It's not often that you wake up in one city, perform in a second, and go to sleep in a third in the span of sixteen hours but today is one of those days, and this weekend will be one of those weekends. Long hours spent in transit, a flurry of activity for each show, and barely enough time to force some much-needed sleep in there. Today is our ( Read more... )

=O Go to sleep, go to sleep! Save the blogging when you've got more rest. =D A 19-hour day is most certainly stressful. =S Good luck with things!

I did sleep, very quickly in fact. :) And I'll blog no matter what-- I can't leave the blogging for when everything is peachy keen now, can I?

Thank you, so so much. You are so kind.

And about the waiting... I like to blog no matter what-- There's a certain honesty captured in particular moments that can't be ignored... Makes things more legitimate I feel.

it definitely makes things more legitimate. and i'm so glad you took the time to capture the "bad" side of the performing lifestyle, with much more honesty and immediacy than would have been possible if you'd had a good sleep and then written "i was so tired yesterday." and i'd imagine it's also much more satisfying for you to write "in the moment" then to talk about difficult times (or even good times) in past tense.

thank you.

good luck with everything!

I always hated the way fluorescent lights make people look so pale. They're not very comforting lights. Especially when one is feeling lonely and far away and overworked.

I'm sending some good thoughts your way.

Yeah, something about those lights really gets to me. I seriously looked like a zombie...

Thanks for the good thoughts.. Keep them coming, I need them!
