With bodies. Not that Angela really cared, at least about them. Claw marks and teeth marks are a little different, though, and so she is sitting outside cleaning one of her guns.

Humming, of course.

Everyone has guns, these days. Gin can't say he approves (and somewhere in the back of his mind Shinsō agrees), although they probably have their uses.

He's seen the bodies, on the other hand. If they had guns, it didn't save them.

He doesn't announce his presence, just leans on the wall and watches quietly, waiting for her to notice him.

Oh, she notices.

But does she do anything?

...well, yes, actually. She pauses and looks up at him, looking rather small down on the ground.

Gin nods at her, takes a half-step forwards. There's blood on the bottom of the too-big pants he's wearing, although with the captain's coat over it, the stains aren't that easily seen.

"Evenin'."

"Evening."

"Nice night," he says, idly.

"Pleasant. Bland. Nothing out of the ordinary."

Gin smiles. Somewhere in the darkness, there's a noise, a half-scuffle like something fleeing. And then it's gone.

Dusk falls, silent, bringing the night. The darkness. And those who thrive in it.

"Could say."

"Notice anything different?"

"'sides the lights and the second floor?"

And the bodies inside.

"I saw."

[thirdbetrayer]

"Somethin' took a bite outta the bodies, looked like."

Something that could bite them.

She's still watching him, tiny and cute and cold.

"Not worried?"

"Is there a point to worrying about things I can't see?"
