In other news, I downloaded a few Shakespeare audiobooks (brilliant, but I wish I could find "The Taming Of The Shrew") and Ellen Degenere's audiobook, hoping it would be funny (it wasn't). I've been reading a lot of books about WWII and Holocaust lately. I've always been interested in WWII for some reason. I love history, but there is nothing more ( Read more... )

And I'm not even looking forward to seeing "The Devil Wears Prada". I'm such a bad fan. Mwahaha.

Well honestly, the only thing that makes me want to see it is Meryl. Otherwise, I couldn't give a crap.

I don't give a crap, Meryl or no Meryl. It makes me sad to see such a brilliant actress playing such trivial and dumb roles. My favourite Meryl movies are her older ones, such as: "The Deer Hunter", "Plenty", "Kramer vs. Kramer", "The French Lieutenant's Woman", "Out Of Africa", "Sophie's Choice", "Ironweed", "A Cry In The Dark". Dramas. That's what I like. I love dramas. I couldn't care less about her comedies from the 90s or hew newer movies (with the exception of "The Hours" and "Adaptation"). I'm very picky, yes. :)

But I think it's really awsome, that even though you are a fan of hers you aren't so, uhm, how to say that, even though you like Meryl alot you can still critic her movies and say "I don't like this movie". Know what I mean?

Yes, I know what you mean and yes, it's true. I give credit when it's due and I critisize her when I think she deserves it. I'm not a blind sheep. :)
