I'm coming for you orangy...
So here's the background. I came home from work and was fighting with the cable box to make it work. A cord came unplugged yet I didn't notice so I was getting irritated. In the middle of this all of a sudden Wally has gone bat shit crazy. She's hissing and sounds angry. I assume it's from Catie "trying to play", ie. tries to kill Wally cause it's fun. I shout. She does it again. I get up to break it up and realize that Wally and orangy are having a show down through the glass. I frantically open my 3 locks on the door and go running outside in my socks. I realize that orangy can't get out of the yard by going over the fence so I run back in for shoes and a towel. The grand plan: to catch orangy and take him home and shout at the neighbours. So I chase orangy through the yard and the snow, thankfully there isn't that much snow yet. Sadly orangy escapes. I guess he had an adrenaline rush from me chasing him around the yard and was able to get over the fence. I chose to not march over to the neighbours and shout. But mostly because I didn't think they would care and I didn't feel angry enough. So orangy has escaped again. I think my next few days off after christmas are going to involve me buying lattice and painting it and sticking it up on the deck so that it is more difficult for orangy to enter.
Then the real fun was inside. Wally was still bat shit crazy. She kept hissing and yowling and was getting more and more riled up as I was standing there. I tried to open the door to let them see that orangy was gone but they only stood apprehensively 5 feet away from the door. Eventually I had to lock Wally in the bathroom and throw in some cat candies to calm her down. And Catie reluctantly went outside and saw that orangy was gone.
I thought we were all calm only to step on something in the dining room a bit ago and it set Wally off again. She's even more worked up now and really really angry. So she's locked in Tracy's room for awhile so she can calm down and maybe be touched.
Stupid orangy.
In other news the gingerbread house is looking good so far. And only one piece is having issues. Which I expected as it was the test piece. Probably should have made a new one. But I'll just make it the back of the house!
