Ah yes, the loss of randomness. That really can't be any fun, although I supose that I'll be going through that soon - I just put out an ad for freelance web design in the City Paper. Hopefully that'll comethrough with something. Otherwise, I'm seriously down a lot of cash. :/.

Superflous banter from ako.

I just finished reading The Handmaid's Tale. Have you read it? Your entry reminds me of the uniforms in it. Yeah.

The spontaneity will come back to your life as soon as you live on your own, you know. At least I think so. I feel like we're at that awful age where we have responsibilities of adults without the freedom. I know that sounds spoiled, but if we're really to be trusted driving and working and doing other such things, can't we be trusted to live on our own? Do we really have more lessons to learn under somebody else's watch? I feel like I have a whole bunch of lessons left to be learned, but not under my current living situation. That isn't to say I don't love my parents (I most definitely do) or that I don't respect them, or that I don't love living on campus, but I crave the spontaneity I used to have. I may just be naive, but I think it will return when college starts, because if I feel like leaving at 3:00am for some reason, I'll be able to do so.

I think also the reason for a uniform at a place like Applebee's is such that everyone knows who works there and who doesn't.
Everyone who can see, at least.
