What a long week. Seriously. I about wanted to die by the end of it. It was a mixture between things going well for me and things completely sucking.
Good news. I got hired as the assistant photo editor for the c of c yearbook. i made an A on my mass media test.
Bad news. All of my pictures from this upcoming photo assignment were overexposed (so I have to reshoot). I think I failed my comm theory test because I didn't study (my fault). I did fail my spanish composition rough draft. I don't think I did so hot on my western civilization exam. I didn't get a call back from Atlanta Bread Company. And I didn't get accepted into SAA. And they didn't even tell me why!?!?
Whatever. I do know that my amigos espanoles just bought their tickets to the USA and will be in Charleston on October 31. How exciting!!!
Oh, and I have resisted this fact for a bit... sort of... but it was definitely proven yesterday at Tertulia. I saw this guy and yeah he was a little interesting... but I hadn't talked to him... wasn't like overly excited by him... but then he came over to Alison and started talking in spanish (with a SPAIN accent) and he was from Murcia (a foreigner) and my heart melted. I had to call Jason immediately afterwards because he is the only one who would appreciate this insight... and now I'm back waiting to pine over the next foreign man w/ an accent to cross my path.
