Independence Day
so we were talking about livejournals today and it made me realize that i hadn't updated in about a week... about a week since i left spain... oh how sad.
i spent a couple of days nursing my jetlag... which was severe... and hanging with the people i'd missed the most.
i got my first international phone call as well the wednesday i returned to the usa. it was villa calling to make sure that i had arrived safely. i stumbled through some elementary spanish, but could understand him fairly well. i wish i could speak half as well as i can understand. joder.
then it was back to work... and as bartender no less. i worked that aubrey-charm and made out like a bandit with some mad tips. makes me want to get a real job as a bartender when i'm actually legal.
haven't really done much of anything lately except work or sleep or hang at jenna's.
today was the 4th of july party on the 3rd of july at northstone. last year we got out of work around 1 or 2 am, but this year we were outta there by 10. weird. but nice.
going to the beach tomorrow after work... thinking about hitting up the swimming hole for a good old american dinner to celebrate this great nation beforehand.
allison is in germany now. i'm jealous. i wish i were in europe.
