The one train-related holiday video that came out so far that I liked didn't come from Amtrak or Via Rail. It was, out of all things, a freaking H&M commercial directed by freaking Wes Anderson and starring the freaking Adam Brody. How did H&M pull it off?

But if you were going to get a big-time director to do your train-themed ad, Wes Anderson is a pretty good choice. It got a charmingly nostalgic thing, harkening back to pre-Amtrak days of train travel. Come to think of it, that would make it a neat Via Rail ad. (because its long-distance trains tend to use older-style train cars then what Amtrak got).
