(The lack of) home Internet update - Oh, for fuck's sake, Comcast!

Yes, this again.

On Friday, I discovered that my home Internet wasn't working properly. Again. Since I had to leave for work-related stuff, I didn't try to get it fixed until I came back home later that evening (after I used Millennium Station wi-fi to wrap up a few things I needed to wrap up by Friday, just in case it turned out the Internet still won't work when I got back).

Well, guess what - it didn't work.

The good news is that they're sending a technician on Monday morning, so I won't have to wait an entire week. The bad news is that Comcast customer service has no idea what it could be. And this time, the unplugged cables may not be a culprit. When they fixed my home Internet last time, there were still a few cables dangling from the cable box by my window, but that didn't seem to interfere with the Internet any. And, as far as I can tell, none of the cables came loose since then.

At this point, I'm seriously wondering if I should try to bill Comcast for all the money I spent on coffee/tea during their service disruption.
