New Years Day
Was wonderful. I managed to sleep in till 9:20 AM, eat a healthy breakfast with Janine, then meet Eliza and Besart for lunch at Slickity Jims, Fabulous meal.
We proceeded to a little coffee shop nearby and had tea, then bought used books. I found an unedited journal by Anais Nin, AWESOME.
We all went our separate ways, but Eliza and I went to her place for a visit and out for a sub par meal, but the company was good. She followed me home for a sleepover and a somewhat late morning of tea and talk. It is good to have friends.
My most special friends and I managed to start the year right with a beautiful meal, some good conversation, and mental stimulation.
Now as the sun sets on the second day of the year, I am grateful to have had the first day be great.
Hopefully the next few are better than the second.
