The TV Addict Loves Castle
I love Castle the show and the character. I miss Firefly so much and still curse FOX for it's cancellation.
I doubt there's any firefly fans girls who don't know about Nathan Fillion's costume from last nights episode of Castle. Seeing him dressed like a Browncoat was just terrific. I seriously squeed and smiled through the whole thing. Especially when his daughter comments that it's been five years and he should move on. i doubt any of us who love firefly will ever move on. What a wonderful shout out to the fans.
That moment of fandom glee was followed by Castle making references to Buffy and then Underworld - I truly adore when shows reference things in the "real worlds"
Castle is such a fun show. The chemistry between the cast reminds me so much of Bones but with even more playfulness. Nathan looks like he is just having a blast. I'm so happy he's found a show which allows him to be so silly.
And now some non spoilery thoughts about White Collar
USA launched a new show called White Collar. After one episode I'm hooked. I do love those con men shows (see Leverage). Neal is a conman who makes a deal to be under house arrest and in exchange he works white collar cases for the FBI. From minute we meet Neal I decided he had to be related to Ezra Standish.
Well ithildyn made it happen with a Mag7/White Collar crossover Straight and Narrow. Go read this wonderful ficlet and then watch the show. It's a keeper!
Next time - I'll share my rant thoughts about the new Stargate: Universe or as we call it Stargate: Galactica. And FYI - that's not a compliment.
