TV Addict Update - The New Season

I thought it was time to weigh in on the new television season now that most of the shows have returned. I am a TV addict and proud of it but have yet to find anything in the new season worth adding to my list! What new shows have grabbed your interest?

So let’s get started: Each Show has it's own cut in case of Spoilers.

I haven't actually watched a single new show this season as opposed to last year when I watched a bunch.

I know nothing has really grabbed me. Damn writer strike really screwed the new season. Then again that's a good thing - no new fandoms ;P

True, so instead, we get hooked on the fandoms of dead shows [g] Got to fill the void, I guess :)

And my muses [g] Currently Ezra, Maude, and Charlotte are conversing modern day. Just waiting for Tony or Methos to show up to add to the chatter!

I think that's why I'm not feeling like I'm missing new TV. I got Iron Man as a fandom over the summer, and just as the fall season was starting, picked up Mag7.

I agree. Mag7 is new to me and that's really what counts. Just wish there were more episodes but 22 is more than a lot of shows get (see me crying over 13 eps of firefly)

Modern day Maude, Charlotte and Ezra - whoo hoo! You really need to figure out how to blend Birdey on an icon with Ezra or Tony

I think I'd forgotten that it was new to you. Huh.

I might be able to swing a historical Ezra and Charlotte icon, but Tony would be hard. Unless I find someone modern day that looks like I think she looks, and I almost never find actresses that resemble my OCs.

Maude's dropped by out of the blue and is currently complaining that Charlotte lives in the country -- again [g] And how can she expect her house guests to want to stay more than a few days with the utter tedium of rural life? Ezra and Charlotte are trying very hard not fall apart laughing.

Mag7 has been an obsession for about 6 month now - so still new. Hell I still think of myself as still new to Highlander. I only finally watched the whole series last fall.

I can completely hear that conversation between the three of them. I hope you're writing it down! I need to finish up and get my posted so you can start sharing some of you modern stuff!!

No, not writing it down :) I'm stubbornly refusing to comply with the voices. And honestly, I write 'mind fic' almost constantly. The majority of it never makes it past my brain [g] Funnily enough, Charlotte originates from one of my oldest and most complex mind fics that was SG1/PotC/HL. I entertained myself with that one for several years!

Yes, I'm strange. But you knew that!

Nope i have huge amounts of "mind fic" I shamefully admit a lot of it is Mary Sue stuff. (Yes in my mind Ezra and I are married and my name is Molly; want to make something of it)

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one constantly telling myself stories to pass the time. Only some of which ever see the light of day!

I have this incredibly complex Stargate/Mag7 one that makes no sense going on right now. It involves time travel and other silliness I'm embarrassed to admit. I'll tell you if you really want to know (email)
