of montreal...three hole punch jim
friday was of montreal. it was of course, fantastic. this show was 100x more ridiculous than last years. wether you like their music or not, you can't deny that they put on a hell of a show.
taken from the dallasobserver site. we had to sign release forms and everything.
we stayed awhile after the show. me and ben were idiots though. we decided we wanted to go back to the car while everyone else waited(we had already waited there for quite awhile)..marcos told us that one of the dudes said to stick around for something special.turns out of montreal came out and did an acoustic set. oh well. at the time we had favored warmth in the car than meeting them. disappointed but not a huge deal.
friday, saturday spent the night at my bros. saturday was the show at club dada. parents went to mexico for the weekend. right when they got home i left, lol. not intentionally. chels had called and she wanted to hang out. went back to her place. but went out to grab some boones and md beforehand lol. watched the usual sunday night programming at her place. TB, entourage, SHH, and dex. craved pizza at around 1am. but no problem. went to greenville pizza. spent the night. she took me home in the morn.
so a little backtrackin. when we went to austin for halloween we headed to 6th street where there's a ton of people dressed up. i, in my intoxicated state was having a BLAST calling out all the costumes i recognized...much to the chagrin of the people i was with lol. well, guess who i had spotted? three hole punch jim! so i of course yelled out "THREE HOLE PUNCH JIM, OMG!!" the dude IMMEDIATELY turned around to stop and say hi and i immediately asked for a picture. he so awesomely agreed and wanted a picture taken with his camera as well. i had immediate LOVE for that guy.
love love love this guy. me and chels were paint and a paint brush lol "$20 , 20 minutes!!!!" was our excuse lol and that doesn't even complete the costume...i had a nifty had to go along with it...didn't take it out though...there is a picture though....on chelseas camera..need to get that from her.
last night i saw role models with harold. twas very funny. very very funny. alot funnier than i thought it would be. the whole roleplaying laire battle completely sucks you in by the way...i actually gasped when players got "killed" lol i quickly felt stupid afterwards. had no idea paul rudd and david wain were apart of writing the screenplay...AND david wain directed!found that out in the opening credits. had i known that beforehand i would have been more eager to see it.
right now..eagerley awaiting for private practice(alexis denisof guest starring!!)and dirty sexy money which on the abc site previewed a fight between karen and lisa..fantasticly entertaining lol
