doctor_k_ and i have decided that to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we are going to visit the National Road Transport Museum (incorporating the Kenworth Truck Dealer Hall of Fame).

Well, I am not at the gig I hoped to be at tonight, because it was cancelled due to a huge storm -- yes, another one! Instead, I am looking at, and listening to, something I thought I would not see while I was in Alice, a roaring river.

you may have heard about the extraordinary storm that hit Alice Springs this afternoon, as it apparently made news bulletins. We are both fine and maybe little overexcited. The town is so wet!
