Exciting afternoon! 140km/h winds plus wildfires = frightening times! Places within ten minutes of me were being evacuated at one point, and Gwennie and me were packed up and ready to hit the road if it got any worse. They set up a road barricade that I could see from my window and everything.
But anyhoo... After about six hours of drama, the fires are officially deemed 'contained' and I can relax and unpack. *g* My friends rock for keeping tabs on me and offering me places to zoom to in case of having to flee.
