Jeez, we're already better at clever feel-good wording than Wolfram & Hart

So Professional Responsibility ought to be one of those classes that you continually stagger out of going "WHUT. ... WHUT." Our first assignment is to email our prof about our greatest fears and then write our own eulogy. :-DDD ( Read more... )

so sue me!, law students smell funny, school

It's definitely a good turn of phrase, even if what he was saying kinda made me facepalm! *g*

Hahahaha statisticated. And Morally Creative. I like it. Although I wouldn't say dishonest so much as... flexible in your interpretation of situations.

Dishonest is such a strong word! Morally creative allows for wiggle room within the bounds of law. INTERPRETATION. True to the letter if not the spirit!

*weeps* Oh, this is gonna be a shock to the system for me when I get into practice, isn't it?

Or as they say in Thank You For Smoking, 'a certain moral flexibility.' :)

Marshmallows in your coffee? Hrmmm. I suppose that's allowed. ;) I dump the hot chocolate in, but I've never done it with the kind with marshmallows.

AHHH! I wonder if he stole it from that...? It did seem like an awfully ingenius remark for so early in the morning.

I had my doubts, but it was gooood. It worked pretty much like those powdered coffee whitener things, only nice-tasting, actually.

PS - So, now that we've triumphantly revealed our lovely index, what's next? *G* When do you figure we should start working on S2? I'm free again as of this Sunday.

Dunno. I've heard similar things on say, Alias. I guess you guys are spy-cousins with the sometimes questionable morals. ;p

Interesting. I wonder how real marshmallows would do.

Err, I dunno! We could start again - do you want to have a deadline again? I'm moving around the end of March so we can either do eet now or post-March.

I didn't think real-world people actually believed that nonsense though. I had it in my head that people kind of... stumbled into questionable situations, rather than signing up for it with their eyes open. :-P Mind you, I think there's some serious posturing happening in that class.

Man, I haven't had real marshmallows in years and years. I may have to try this!

Deadlines are a very good thing. I'll be moving in April-May, right after exam-o-rama, so maybe if we started season two now and tried to have it finished by the end of February, that might be doable, eh?
