Did I mention that I signed up to dance for Law Show again this year? We've got more dances than last year, almost half the amount of dancers, and we get to open the show this time. With disco. Very very fast disco. X-D

*flail* This needs to happen. They always tape the actual show for us, but the rehearsals where people get dropped or flung into walls or kicked in the head needs to be preserved for posterity too.

This is not a group of graceful people, okay?? (Anyway, I didn't get kicked in the head. I dodged. *beam* I did smack a cute first year dude in the chest while doing disco pointy fingers though, bwahaha!)

We have, like, three people with any dance experience whatsoever in the entire faculty. And they are the directors. X-D The rest of us are just kind of Geeks Gone Wild or something.

(Best injury yesterday though... I laughed so hard... My one friend realized he was on totally the wrong side of the stage and took off running for the other side to get there before the music started, just as some guy in the middle decided he wanted to impress the girl next to him by randomly dropping to do push-ups. Sean not only tripped the hell over him, but actually went airborne for a moment. It was beautiful.)

For further facepalm effect, all the big firms traditionally sponsor the show and send their people to come watch. So you're very likely shakin' your groove thang in front of your future coworkers too. X-D

Is this some elaborate form of torture, srsly? What. Why do you do this to yourself?

BECAUSE PEOPLE CLAP FOR ME.

(Nah... it's a big annual fundraising thing for a local women's shelter, with the additional benefit helping you figure out which other students are willing to make giant fools of themselves for the lulz.)

Wiser minds than mine got the ball rolling on this dorkism-as-good-deed venture ages back. I just show up and attempt the occasional high kick. ;-)
