Oh the lengths to which I'll go, so long as people clap...
Did I mention that I signed up to dance for Law Show again this year? We've got more dances than last year, almost half the amount of dancers, and we get to open the show this time. With disco. Very very fast disco. X-D
In a crazy twist...
Okay, no, I have to give background info. You guys know I love So You Think You Can Dance with a great and unabashed passion, right? And sometimes when I see neat-looking moves, I immediately leap up and try them out. Yes, I am the very coolest, I know. *g* Anyway, there was this one disco move that looked awesome but required ridiculous coordination because each of your arms and legs were supposed to be doing alternating things, and I flailed about like I was drunkenly guiding an airplane in for landing and laughed at myself and thought "Wow, thank goodness I'll never have to do that in front of an audience!"
So in the opening number, there's this bit where ten of us girls zoom to the front of the stage and do a groovy little bit including 'this great move we stole from So You Think You Can Dance'...
Oh yes. It is The Disco Move From Hell come back to haunt me. Hilariously, as soon as I started up my drunken octopus flailing, one of the directors shouted "Look! Do exactly what Megan's doing, she's got it!" and I started blushing and got a giggle-attack and it all went rapidly to hell.
So that was my evening... *G*
(And now I go to class. Hope today isn't unbearably Mondayish for anyone!)
