I have been Out In The Wilderness since Friday. *clings to civilization* Excellent little trip, albeit rather freezing, and a much-needed detox from school life. (It was also meant to be a detox from fandom, but then I spent many long hours lazing around the campfire talking Harry Potter with little sister and Doctor Who with the newly-converted ( Read more... )

Alas, I didn't bring my camera! From little sister's camera though, we did manage to capture the very rare Green-Gloved Flying Creature. ;-D

It was excellent fun, despite the absolutely freezing temperatures half the time. As much as I love the city, there's something awesome about crashing around in the wilderness. (That was actually about our third attempt there... On the first go, I did something strange to my ankle on the take-off and, splat, both feet right in the water! Hee!)

Duuude. That was supposed to be Chase in my icon, not the Bug Of Doom. O_o That was unexpected.

I hear ya. Nature rocks. *g* This was a rehearsed photo then? *amused*

Hee, the bug did seem a bit of a funny choice, but hey, we're all strange creatures now and then. ;D

Well, first I was just zooming around leaping over puddles and attempting to catch salamanders, and then out came the camera and it was all "Leap over that puddle! No, no, more impressively! Again! Again!" and "But I'm tired! I'm gonna fall in the water again!" ... And this is how the Creature Family does Thanksgiving. *G*

Quite a shock when you're expecting adorable!Chase and get a bug instead. Hmm. Speaking of House, have you seen the previews for this week's ep?!

*snickers* Your sister is clearly a cutthroat director in the making. :D

I have seen...whatever came after the last ep for previews. House and Wilson funeral road trip!

I fear she's discovered my complete inability to say no to her! Eep!

For someone who supposedly doesn't ship them, I'm ridiculously pleased that we're getting Wilson back. (One of these days, Wilson and House need to have a road trip that's not all death and despair, seriously. *g*)

You're in trouble now!

I felt better in the last episode when Wilson simply wasn't there. I can cope if he's out of the picture much easier when he's...actually out of the picture. :D But yes, it'll be nice to see them possibly working towards getting along in a confined space. :) Though, I can only imagine how much of a bastard House is going to be with the whole 'we're not friends anymore' line.
