Last night I went up to Omaha with Tim to be "guest players" in Tim's brother's D&D 3.5 game.  I got to play an absentee's character and Tim got to play one of the tag-along NPC guys.  They're game was pretty un-serious, so it threw me out of the loop.  There was a lot of low-fantasy meta-gaming...  but oh well.  It was a good time ( Read more... )

So I am back from Washington DC.  I also had problems getting back.  Not only did I have to wake up at 2:30am central time and take a taxi for $95 to Baltimore's airport, but then I was told that I wasn't even booked for the 6am flight at Baltimore, but the 6am flight in Washington DC.  Which is pretty silly, considering my itinerary said the ( Read more... )

Soooo...
