Awww crap..
My portfolio is missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know what the fuck happened to it, but its not at my house. I took it with me today to show some kids my stuff, and now I have no clue where its at. Im freaking out because that had everything in it from studio, plus a little bit of my work from brooks. But it was all the stuff that was the best. So now its floating around somewhere open for all to see. Now dont get me wrong, its fine if people want to look at my work I would just like to be present so I can see their reactions. Because once I left up this picture of Jacob and I on the photo wall, and aparently someone took it. Then when I was at a concert this guy came up to me and told me about how him and his friends had the damn picture and thanked me for taking it. Ewww.. I'm down with giving out my pictures to people who want them but its sort of a supervised thing, like I dont want some frat boy that I dont know jacking off to my work. So tomorrow I get to rush to the studio and look everywhere for it, cause it has to be there, it was the only place where I had it out. Thank god that I didnt have the nude pictures in it, I would feel HORRIBLE if they were in it. Im VERY protective over that stuff, just cause its not meant to be displayed everywhere to everyone. Unless the model gives me permission to, but even then I'm still hesitant about it. Like today I was printing out pictures of Alicia, and I had guys swarming all over it in the darkroom, so I was very carefull that I didnt leave any pics in the wash. I also thought it was funny that when I was printing them out guys would look at the pic, and then they would give me that naked look you know the shifty eyes looking you up and down. I dont know what the hell they were thinking, it definetly wasnt me in those pictures.
In a totally off subject, I dont know whats going on but I am totally loving, blues and soul music??? Give me Diana, Aretha, and Etta, and I am a happy girl. Wich I just feel is a very wierd ajustment from "Emo" or whatever I listened to. Ive been secretly taking my grandparents tapes of that stuff because they Luuuuve "Motown" music. Ha! I also discovered that they had a tape of the Miami Vice soundtrack. Hehe I remember when that show was popular, I think my grandpa liked it because it was a cop show with "sex appeal" and since he was a seargent of the police force at the time, he wanted to be that. Because he tried to copy the Don Johnson stuff. Ha! I can just picture him now in his sport car speeding down the road with his aviator sunglasses, witht the windows rolled down listening to the theme song from that show. Ahh midlife crises, gotta love them.
