Horatio walked listlessly through the Compound. What on earth did he do all day to prevent this terrible boredom? He had distant and unattainable memories of endless patrols and paperwork, but that seemed so silly now that he was sure he was mistaken.
He blinked as he found himself in the rec room. Perhaps it could provide him with some entertainment. Perhaps it could even provide him with one of those films Archie had found, and then he would have to do nothing more than lie back and be set upon by light and sound!
He was very dismayed, then, to find the couch occupied. "You there!" he called to the pair of feet hanging over the armrest. "I think you should give me the use of this couch!"
