The video game Persona 3 is getting an anime series, though it's not really an adaptation.  The series is apparently set ten years after the game, which most likely means that most if not all of the main characters will be brand new.  This could either be really interesting or, really, really bad.  It starts airing in Japan in January, so I imagine ( Read more... )

So I just watched Highlander:  The Search for Vengeance.

The short verdict:  It was really better than it had any right to be.  It certainly kicked the shit out of Highlanders 2-4, although that isn't a difficult feat.

I rented the anime series Genesis Climber Mospeada (better known to some in its edited form as Robotech: The New Generation) from Scarecrow this past Friday. All twenty-five episodes were packaged in a box set, uncut and with English subtitles.
