Not to freak you out, but there are 67 days until Christmas...

I'm not gonna lie. I am totally one of those annoying people who absolutely loves Christmas. I love everything about it....the trees, the food, the smell of baking, the decorations, the music, being around all the family, the eggnog, the wrapping paper and excitement and...yes. I just love it all. And I totally listen to Christmas music like mad. Though I don't usually start listening to it when they start playing it on 100.3 (their Christmas season apparently now starts November 1), I will be listening to it right around Thanksgiving (which I also love for the food and family). My favorite thing to listen to, though, is The Nutcracker ballet suite. Oh, it's not Christmas until I listen to that entire thing...over and over and over.

I am so totally looking forward to Christmas. Seriously.

Mike's mom and I already have plans to decorate and bake. We're totally plotting to get Mike and his dad to hang up lights outside. And we are getting all Christmas-ed out. I can't wait.

I'm watching Anthony Bourdain, and I am getting ridiculously hungry. I envy him and some of this tasty food. Though, some of the things he eats are downright disturbing. But he sure is game for some scary things, which makes for good tv. And I love his sense of humor. It's right up my alley.

I have an interview for a field placement in the UM health system. It's crazy competitive, and I'm super nervous about it. I know I can sell them on me...it's just a matter of being more impressive and a better fit for the place than anyone else they interview. I'll do it, dang it. The interview is later this week, right in the middle of my class. But profs are understanding of that, so I just have to e-mail my prof and make sure I get my paper proposal in to her on time. Not a big deal. Dani and I went shopping today and I finally found a shirt for my outfit. I now have a totally new, professional outfit to wear (including a nice purse, which I have been sorely lacking). This thing has to go well. Here's hoping!

I have a date tonight...with the boyfriend. I'm looking forward to it. I have no idea what exactly we're doing...I left it up to him. It will just be nice to get to spend some time together, since the job he's been on has kept him so busy for so much of the week, we hardly see each other.

Time for me to go. I am sure there's something productive I should be doing.

Love!
