Getting Into More Trouble

We "got off lightly", as Lothar put it. I had expected a serious reprimand to be added to my permanent records. As I was already prepared for that eventuality, which has not [yet] occurred, then there is no logical reason why I should not break a few more rules right now. The worse that could happen is that for which I had already been prepared.
Captain Jellico was lucid, briefly, when I visited him in sickbay. He requested that I perform a favor for him. I agreed to comply without reservation.
I tracked down his uncle, Admiral Edward Jellico, to the admiral's favorite bar in San Francisco. The admiral was "drowning his sorrows", as the colloquialism goes. He recognized me, with barely-concealed signs of suppressed anger and sadness, when I sat down next to him -- but then he brought himself under control. He offered to buy me drink, in the hopes that there would be "no hard feelings held" between us. I explained that Vulcans do not hold feelings, hard or otherwise, but I accepted the proffered drink.
I then queried the admiral, asking whether or not it was traditional that I now provide him with a drink -- the "next round", as it were. He agreed, so I gave him a duranium mug full of "Arthur's punch".
Admiral Jellico is now heavily sedated and under observation, in the room across the corridor from Admiral Janeway.
