In 2009 I managed 3 out of 4 resolutions. This year, I failed at 5 out of 5, though I was still working towards 3 of them this month so they were still pretty reasonable ones, not abandoned within 1 week as the BBC tells me is the average.
In 2009 I completed 6 of my 101 in 1001 goals. This year, I completed 9 and will most likely complete a 10th by the end of this week. I think that 11 or 12 could realistically happen next year. I've found found my 101 list fun and inspiring, rather than a series of resolutions to attempt and fail and I think I will carry on - therefore my 101 in 1001 will turn into Things To Do Before I'm 40 this summer when my 1001 days are up.
Because 2011 will be... the year I turn 30...! It's really not as old as I always thought it was. (That said, Mark really did get older after 30.)
Upon re-reading the Year in Review Meme I did last year I feel a little better about 2010 - I certainly didn't make the same mistakes or regret the same things. Some things have actually improved in comparison to last year.
