An Actual Journal?

So, I'm back. Again. It seems I have a knack for abandoning LJ for extended periods of time, only to make a single post or two and disappear once more. Perhaps that will be the case again, but I am hoping for something else. Therefore, I have elected to turn this into an actual journal, rather then a place to touch base with friends. I have Facebook for that. So here, I will simply collect random thoughts, ideas, memories of the day, and so forth. I will continue to accept comments, I think. At least for the time being. I believe feedback is a great way to improve myself, and it would be fooling for me to dismiss such a valuable resource. But one thing has changed. My concern here is not LiveJournal, but rather MyJournal. I have returned because I think I need a place to write on a regular basis.

Therefore, I apologize in advance that I will probably still not be an active reader of the posts of my friends. I dream that my friends have a greater desire to share their lives with me then to only leave a digital postcard on the web that I have to chase after to receive. I know that I have every intention of overcoming the lethargy of letting a social service maintain my only contact with my friends, and know that those who matter will understand and strive for the same.

Perhaps you will see me again, floating around my world. You are welcome to check if you wish, but it is my own little place, and there is no obligation to do so.
