obligatory xmas post

Dec 28, 2009 17:55

I am back at last. I regularly checked my email/lj and sometimes twitter to see what everyone was up to, but was too busy to reply. We baked, cooked, Amy's in-laws were in town, and then my parents, and then sometimes I babysat, and... yeah... not much time to myself. I'll be glad to see my bed again *snuggles*

My gifts:

family, books, xmas, rec

I loved The Other Boleyn Girl but had a tough time with The Constant Princess though I did love Henry and Katherine's love story. It does make you think.

Also, nice haul.

Mm, I enjoyed Arthur and Katherine more, but I did love the scheming, her strength, and... her constance, I guess. We'll see how I fare with the Boleyns. That one's about Anne, right?

OMG! I totally said the wrong name. I like Arthur/Katherine more too. Yikes! I never liked the Henry/Katherine stuff.

I liked her for the same reasons.

The Other Boleyn Girl is actually a lot about Mary. Her relationship with Henry, her life, and her take on everything Anne. It was great though.

LOL! Don't worry, all's forgiven ;P Kidding.

Hmm, I'm sure it will be very interesting nonetheless. I liked Gregory's writing style.
