How did you become a fan of 10?
In college someone was talking about them a lot. It wasn't until maybe a year ago that I actually listened to the music and liked it.
In other news, Coy and I had our first apartment party together this past Saturday. About 15 people showed up, which was awesome. Matt
gooseypoo brought over his Wii, so half the people played on that while the other half played cards on the dining room table. The party was scheduled to end at 11pm, which it did, but the 6 remaining people couldn't figure out if they wanted to go to Sherlock's or not for a few more drinks. So by 11:30pm, Coy and I started cleaning up the place and I was in bed by midnight. I got 4 hours of sleep that night since I had to be at work by 5am. Oh yeah, I took a 2-hour nap when I got back.
And this coming weekend, we'll be driving out to Lafayette to spend time with his grandmother (Maw Maw Foreman). The family is having a birthday party for her, and we don't get to see her very much unless we go back to Lafayette. She's old and has some type of cancer, so we love to go spend time with her whenever we can. I had to switch 2 days with 2 people just so I can have this weekend off. I love Coy's family, especially his dad. We went up to his sister's house in the Tomball area to hang out with Coy's nieces and nephew while his parents babysat the kids. Anna, Jacob, and Mary had a great time with us, even asking us to read them a bedtime story. Once the kids were in bed, we were talking to Coy's dad about the possibility of me getting a new car or a new transmission. Well, he must've lost his train of thought because he asked me when I'm changing my name. HAHAHAHA!!! Well, it all depends on Coy now for that sort of stuff.
Oh and speaking of romantic moments, C and I went out to San Antonio June 1st-3rd. We stayed on the Riverwalk the whole time just about. It was really nice and relaxing. Monday night, we had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant on the Riverwalk. Our waiter was horrible - this emo type kid took 10 minutes to get us our drinks, forgot to mark down chicken with Coy's meal, and didn't even get us bread and oil!! We had to flag down 2 other waiters to fix the order with the meal and another to get the bread (which we noticed halfway through the meal). Right as the other waiter went to get the bread, a mariachi band came by and asked if we wanted a song. Coy told them to sing a romantic song to us, which was lovely (no idea what they said since it was some other language). But needless to say, our waiter's tip went to the band. We would've done more, but we were tired and didn't want to drive to places.
But other than that, not much else going on. My parents are excited to come to town July 4th weekend. We're going to Lafayette to spend time with Coy's family and go crabbing, take a swamp tour, etc. Just a nice short break from it all. The next trip we plan on going will be Pittsburgh at the end of August. And later on in the year we'll be heading back up north to watch a PSU football game. YAY!!
