So, several rescue people in NY are seriously interested in taking in most of the boy ratties I'm overflowed with, so I just have to figure out what the best way to send them is. United will ship, as will a few other airlines, but we have to figure out exactly how many are going and in what type of containment, so they can figure out the exact rates.
The two dwarf boys are adorable! They're about four months old, give or take (I'm still waiting on OFR's papers on them). One is a ruby-eyed dumbo hooded siamese. He's very personable, but cautious. I named him Raistlin Majere. The other is an agouti velveteen. He's a little shy, but very curious. When he's out, he just won't sit still and has to be everywhere and see everything at once. So he is now named Tasslehoff Burrfoot.
Yep. Dragonlance. I'm a geek.
But, hey. The names fit them really well so far. And they're already starting to answer to them, and I've only had them for a day now. LOL They are so fun to watch! Raist rattles the bars on the door when he wants out and will follow you around the cage if you walk by. Tas likes to play hide 'n seek, and it reminded several people of that old "bop the gopher" game. He was like a prairie dog, up down up down up up down. LOL I'll have to take pics.
