It's bad. He had a fever last night and his brain kept swelling. He became unresponsive and is no longer breathing on his own. They say he is effectively brain dead. They will run two more tests to establish it, then he will be pronounced dead and the breathing tube removed. My heart goes out to the Spencer and Sandborn family. I'm so sorry to see someone else live out this agony. My best wishes, love and support and many many hugs to all who needs them. I'm probably not going to be too closely nearby because it is almost reliving my nightmare word by word...

My heart goes out to you all. I wish I could offer to help cover the hospital bills but unfortunately we're still struggling to pay off what my Dad's insurance doesn't cover. We've pretty much got Stanford paid and now we're working on sub acute. I'm glad he was able to tell Dawn he loves her and the family is getting to say their goodbyes.
