Mike update
It's bad. He had a fever last night and his brain kept swelling. He became unresponsive and is no longer breathing on his own. They say he is effectively brain dead. They will run two more tests to establish it, then he will be pronounced dead and the breathing tube removed. They are mostly just waiting for the rest of the family to get here to say goodbye... So we are all here at the hospital now. At least he had a few days here awake enough to tell Dawn that he loved her. This is a hard time for the Spencer and Sandborn families. Please keep Dawn in your thoughts this week. And she will still need some assistance with the hospital bills and now funeral costs... We will keep everyone posted if there are any changes.
