and the world turns...
Well, work is going great. And the benefits are going to be awesome. ^_^ The kids are totally bonding with me. One of them, David, actually cries if he has to go work with someone else half the time! And he loves my floppy hat, it's so cute! I'll have to see if I can get a picture of him in it. I have a pic of each of the four kids in my classroom, I'll post them later. :)
And on the housing front, it looks like we might be moving into our new apartment next weekend! Help with the lifting would be great, so any volunteers?
Now to just get past this whole screwy-pay-schedule-for-summer thing. I get paid at the end of this month, but it'll be an adjusted check because I just started. Next month's will be the right gross pay, but will have triple benefits taken out to cover the summer months we aren't working. Summer session is paid from a different department, so even though we're working in July, we won't get paid until mid-August. Then we start up the new school year in September but won't get paid until the end of September. *groans* It'll be the end of October before my pay is stable and my bills will be managed on-time. Le sigh. Maybe I can find some work to cover the summer bits we're not teaching...
