Yeah, so it's been forever. But hopefully the email access situation will resolve itself soon. ;)
Meanwhile, the Xmas party went wonderfully. Great food, great company, great fun. ^_________^ Definitely have to do it again next year! Pressies all around, and interesting conversation. And since it's after New Year's, I think it's safe to say to anyone who was at the party- I think the balls touched, so the Pope must be gay now. :p Thanks to everyone who sent stuff, and your welcome to all who received. There are too many to list you all.
Mmm, what else has been going on? The great roommate shuffle again. Still have a full house. Need to clean this week, but have been being lazy and putting it off. Need to take the tree down this weekend, though the dog thought she'd be helpful and tried to take it down yesterday, much to our chagrin. Fortunately the only casualties were a mouse, the fish, and some glassware. At least, we think the mouse is a casualty, as her cage got smooshed in the fall, but we have yet to recover the body. It's possible she's trying to live the life of her wild cousins in the great outdoors.
Had a job interview for a management position at PetSmart yesterday. I think it went well. I'm supposed to hear back from a different manager for a secondary interview or some such. We'll see.
Went to the New Year's Cinderella Waltz. That was also much fun. Saw several new faces, a few familiar ones, and one I hadn't expected to see at all. Of course, the unexpected one is someone I wanted to talk to, but I was mostly distracted flirting with other cute girls and dancing so didn't get to say more than a few passing hellos to her. Ah well. C'est l'vie. Looking forward to the next dance this Saturday. :)
Found Victorian ladies' boots in my size! Yay! Had to have them. *squee* So now I have period shoes for next year! And have part of the corset cost together, so more yay! Dianne and I are going to make bloomers and stuff this month, just have to go fabric shopping.
Which means finding work so I can afford it... XD
Need to get to the post office, maybe Monday or Tuesday...
