Whee! So, Tuesday afternoon I met with one of the potential roommates. She seemed pretty cool. We're getting her dog Sierra and mine together over the weekend to make sure they'll play nice with each other. :p Then of course, Bauhaus was that night. That show ROCKED! I loved the whole lights-directly-related-to-beat thing they did for the opening number. Then we went to Mini Gourmet afterward for some chow. Cause, ya know, food is good. :)
Wednesday we did the store inventory. It went fast for a change. Then I drove up to SF to see the newly-weaned litter that Kelly had. They are Requiem's great-grandchildren! So cute!! So she gave me two of the girls. One looks a lot like Req, even down to the belly spot! Only the little one also has a little white headspot. LOL The other is a blonde cap and stripe, with a blaze in the cap coming from the back of her head between her ears rather than up her nose. She's also an odd-eye. Domo kawaii desu!!! I also wound up with a fat little black mouse girl. Kelly had found her in their local bar (or rather, the mouse came bounding up to her at the local bar and begged to be held!), but they didn't know what to do with her. She's the sweetest thing, and I swear she thinks she's a rat! She'll let you hold her and pet her and play with her, and we introduced her to the little ones to see what they'd do, and they all get along and snuggle! So cute. So now I've got a mouse that lives with that cage of ratties. *shakes head* I know, I'm hopeless! After SF, it was up to Santa Rosa to pick up a new cage someone was getting rid of. Then I decided to head to Sacramento and hang out with silentr0b and rainyadair. We grabbed Chinese food and rented Lords of Dogtown. It was pretty good, but it annoyed me that they kept showing that one of the guys had a problem with one of the others, but never bothered to tell us WHY. Grr. Other than that, it was fun.
My car, however, is still having problems starting. This was supposed to be fixed with that last part, so now I'm wondering if the battery doesn't need replacing after all. Suckzor. I'll have to have my dad look at it.
The property manager for the townhouse said he should have the lease paperwork ready for me tomorrow and can give me keys this weekend if I want to start moving stuff in. That would rock. Now I just need to find a new couch, since my parents took my two leather ones from storage and decided to use them at their house. *sigh*
Oooh, and Heathen's little squirmy squeakers are starting to get fuzzy and darken to show what markings they'll have. Should be interesting, since it looks like several are pretty dark! I'll take a closer look later and post what markings are turning up.
