First one is about Gore's speech regarding America's energy dependence. Makes some valid points, and hopefully the 'big push' is finally coming.
The second one is actually from an oil baron in Texas who is pushing the United States to make moves towards renewable energy. In this particular case, wind and natural gas. Either way, he has apparently invested several million dollars in ads to bring the energy crisis to the forefront of this election.
(For anyone who didn't know: Alternative/Renewable energy research is something I am very passionate about, and I want to hopefully put my career towards such research)
