Deege Days of Summer
Since Daniel was moving moved to Virginia, we tried to spend a bit more time with him.
I had him over one evening for my Cheese & Macaroni. It was a nice night and we ate out on the deck. We then went through a couple of photo albums from 15 years ago. Daniel spent time asking questions and making comments. I do the same thing with others.
A small group met for dinner one evening at Sosa Borella to take him out. David Kampel was present, along with Nicolle and I got to meet a couple of his other girlfriends, Aimee & Lauren. My meat, doused with chimichurri sauce was very good.
We also attended his last Times Squares dance. Nick was calling at Chelsea Studios. We hit John’s Pizzeria afterward before heading home.
I’m sorry to see him leave the area, but I’m certain we’ll keep in touch.
