I went out with Piper this morning and saw an elderly man walking by our building. He had short white hair, what looked like a brown-bag lunch, and camera equipment that cost the equivalent of a decent used car. (A 70D and some *big* L glass.) I'm really curious about where he was going, but Piper was being slow, he was moving fast, and I didn't catch up to ask.
My new work schedule is causing some mental disruption. I'm feeling a lot of anxiety/depression symptoms. This morning, I flirted with sleep for hours, but neither of us could take it further so I'm up. I still feel kind of like lying down. Yesterday I was highly anxious about visiting friends. I had to ask Danae to get off of the highway on the way there because the traffic was causing me panic. Once there, I felt better, but then I got so tired out of nowhere that I laid down on the floor and took a nap. Then, after food, I wanted to go back home. I hope this will settle down as I get used to the new pattern.
If ambition holds up, I'm going to get over to the bike shop today for a new spoke and stuff for my Summer bike, Longing. The weather is consistently warm these days and I want to start taking longer trips again.
